Beshining received two nominations in ALB Award

Recently，Asian Legal Business announced the finalist of China Regional Law Awards 2022: East China. Beshining stands out from the fierce competition by virtue of outstanding strength and achievement, and was nominated for Intellectual Property Law Firm of the Year East China- Local. Managing Partner Weibin WANG was nominated for Young Lawyer of the Year East China- Local.

China Regional Law Awards 2022: East China focused on six provinces and municipality in East China, namely Shandong Province, Jiangsu Province, Anhui Province, Zhejiang Province, Jiangxi Province and Shanghai city. The award, which attracted nearly 100 law firms and in-house teams with outstanding achievements in legal services market of East China, totaled more than 730 nominations, covering 23 different legal practices. The finalists are the top level of legal industry in East China.

Mr. Wang graduated from Jilin University with a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering and technology and earned a master's degree in medicinal chemistry from Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences and a master's degree in law from Shanghai University. Over the past career, Mr. Wang has represented nearly 1,000 domestic patent applications and PCT international applications, and hundreds of foreign patent applications, involving the U.S., U.K., Japan, Germany, South Korea, India, Canada, Australia and other countries. In addition, he has represented dozens of patent reexaminations and patent invalidation cases. He has also successfully handled many patent litigation disputes in the chemical engineering and pharmaceutical fields with a win rate of over 80% including the patent administrative litigation cases held in the Supreme People’s Court of The People’s Republic of China. Furthermore, he has led the team to complete dozens of large-scale FTO investigations, and patentability analysis and appraisal projects. He has also led teams to help several well-known venture capital funds to conduct pre-investment legal & IP due diligence, evaluate or eliminate investment risks for the high-tech enterprises to be invested in. Mr. Wang has served hundreds of well-known pharmaceutical companies and organizations. In addition, Mr. Wang has been actively engaged in intellectual property training lectures and speeches in Chinese or English which are up to nearly one hundred. In 2019, he was awarded the Silver Award for Best Lecturers by Shanghai Intellectual Property Service Association. In 2020, He was awarded “Outstanding Figure in the IP Industry of Shanghai” by Shanghai Intellectual Property Service Association. In 2021, he was awarded the prize of "Service Talents" by Shanghai Intellectual Property.
