During 11-year practice, Ms. Xu offers intellectual property services to many large chemical and pharmaceutical enterprises. Now she is in charge of Foreign-Related Patent Department. She has been engaged in foreign-related business for many years, and is familiar with the patent practices in many jurisdictions including China. She excels at overseas patent layout, formulating overseas application strategies, and is good at using the patent process system of various countries to provide customers with the best solutions for their applications.
In 2010, Ms. Xu was invited to make a presentation, as the only speaker from China, in the 16th European Symposium of Fluorine Chemistry. Then in 2016, she participated in a training course of German and British patent law organized by Haseltine Lake LLP, a well-known IP law firm in Europe. She learned European patent practice through face-to-face meetings with European attorneys and was effectively involved in several European opposition cases. In addition, Ms. Xu was invited to the Shanghai Intellectual Property Service Association in 2021 to give a lecture entitled "PCT Application Practice" for hundreds of high-tech enterprises, which was well received. During her practice, Ms. Xu has also conducted training related to overseas patents for a number of enterprises, including technical and IP personnel of Aulton New Energy Automotive Technology Co., Ltd, CIAC-HIM, Shanshan Technology Co., Ltd., etc., which all have great responses.
