At present, Ms. Yu is in charge of the Domestic Patent Agent Department for Chemistry and biology and the Department of Patent Search and Analysis in our firm. During 15-year practice, she has handled hundreds of patent applications. She has been involved in patent drafting and office action responding in the areas of chemical, medicinal preparation, extracts from traditional Chinese medicine, food processing, animal feed, water treatment, chemical Engineering processing methods and equipment, various analyzing and testing methods, chemical industry products, macromolecular material and catalysts. She also has extensive experience in patent reexamination, invalidation procedure, invalidation analysis, patent search and infringement analysis.
 
As a person in charge, Ms. Yu has led teams to complete dozens of large-scale patent analysis and evaluation projects for project importation, enterprise investment and acquisition, product launching, including FTO, patent risk due diligent investigation, patent infringement search analysis, patentability evaluation, etc.  The clients include well-known enterprises at home and abroad. And, the target jurisdictions include the global scope, or specific countries such as China, the United States, Japan, Russia, Indonesia, Spain, the Philippines, and Pakistan, etc.
 
Since entering this profession, Ms. Yu has been actively engaged in intellectual property training. She has provided trainings on basic knowledge of patents, patent mining, patent layout, and FTO patent risk due diligent investigation for many companies. She has been invited to conduct patent training courses for graduate students of Shanghai Institute of Pharmaceutical Industry and teach courses such as patent information search for LLM students at Shanghai International Intellectual Property Institute of Tongji University.
